I am Araba Dadzie, I am the owner of Dadzie, I chose to use my last name because of
the cultural significance it holds. The last name Dadzie derives from the Fante tribe in Ghana. Coming from a West African upbringing, confidence is exuded throughout our culture. Everything from our clothes, music, and food is BOLD. I wanted to create a brand where people who look like me could resonate with Dadzie. I thought of incorporating Ghanaian fabrics into
my handbags as a way of sharing a piece of my culture. My goal was to create a bag that is a reflection of myself. You can’t go wrong with vibrant colors & kente cloths. I wanted to create something that was both chic yet practical. Standing out from others is what being Ghanaian is all about. Merging American culture and my culture together is my way of creating versatility. Medaase! Meaning thank you in my culture for making a piece of my purses an addition to your
collection! Dadzie is for those who dare to be bold!Shop Now
